The Swarajya Township in Ambivali spans over a land parcel of 70 acres. Facing the Kalu River on the northern side, the circulation and layout used the water body to create microclimate on site and channel the ventilation to naturally cool the entire site. Complete with a commercial, socio economic centre, dispensary, schools and derasar, this development was designed to be a city within itself. To make the township as self-sustainable as possible garden reserves, bio gas zones and a market area was formed. The complete plot was land was divided in sectors and then connected with a primary and secondary road network bringing the entire community together.
