Started in 1992 with a single Architect and draftsman, our journey so far has taken us from designing much-needed, utilitarian residential and commercial projects, where the focus is optimization of space, to more eclectic, high-end institutional and inspired township projects. We ensure that the Delivered Product stays true to the Design Drawings. The number of repeat clients is a testimony to our professionalism and skill at converting Vision into Reality.

MQA has thrived under the able and passionate leadership of Ar. Qutub Mandviwala (b.1964). Since the beginning he has been conscious of how human behavior and interactions are shaped by Space Design.
Qutub completed his architecture studies from the Academy of Architecture, Mumbai. He began his journey in 1984 under the guidance of Ar. Hafeez Contractor. In 1992 Qutub started an independent practice from a garage at Mahim. Today the practice has moved to the sprawling Turf Estate, Worli. Qutub works with his Associates to conceptualize and direct the design of each project.
At a time when Signature Styling and traditional architecture dominated Indian Design,Qutub challenged the norms. His greatest contribution has been the de- homogenization of Architecture in Mumbai. He believes a repetitive signature style only limits creativity and is continuously pushing the boundaries of space imagining. Qutub’s designs are a creative extension of himself. Clarity of thought, simplified forms, minimalism and functionality make his designs timeless.
